Peter has over 33 years’ experience in the construction industry, 22 of them in estimating. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MAIQS) and holds the Institute’s Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS) designation. Peter provides professional estimating services to government, government-owned corporations and construction companies across Australia, and has extensive cost planning and estimating experience on both alliance and hard dollar projects. His work covers civil infrastructure, water and recycled water treatment, roads, airports, desalination plants, mining, and residential and industrial subdivisions. On roads, this includes leading a team of 18 estimators on the North East Link tender in Melbourne.
Peter began his career operating earthmoving plant and working in concrete construction. That gives him a first-hand understanding of how work is actually done on site, and he brings it to every estimate.
As Managing Director and Chief Estimator at ECS, Peter is known for his calm nature, proactive engagement with all stakeholders, and persistent approach to each project.
